Vibrant Rose Garden Olivine, Magenta and Vermillion Giclée Print

from $40.00

Part of the Vibrant Rose Garden collection, inspired by my mother’s love of roses and their vast array of colors. About 35 years ago my sister and I gave my mom the most beautiful coral pink rose bush for Mother’s Day. It still lives in her backyard and is now much taller than me. Roses were never my favorite, but the more I painted them, the more I started to understand why my mom appreciated them so much. Today these are one of my favorite flowers to paint. These colorful roses were originally painted in matte acrylic gouache on cotton cold press watercolor paper. This piece features a vibrant cluster of olivine and magenta roses that pop against a bold vermillion background.

This is a print for the color lover who knows how special roses really are.
