Robert Kuo Enamel Panel Bracelet

$125.00

Why I Selected This Piece

When I was working on my metal smithing degree years ago, my professor was a master cloisonné artist who created the most incredible pieces. I learned the basics, and how challenging the craft is, but mostly I gained a massive appreciation for this art form. I recently discovered the designer Robert Kuo, who began his career creating contemporary enamel jewelry in his studio in L.A. and Taiwan. He made colorful panel bracelets like this one, which feature a different design on each panel.

Details

Made in the 1970s. Original Robert Kuo piece. Gold plated copper and cloisonné glass enamel. Made in Taiwan and stamped with Kuo’s iconic circular country of origin mark on the back of each panel. 1 1/2” wide. 7 1/2” long. Closes with a secure box clasp. This is a heavy piece!

Care

Use a gentle polishing cloth to clean as needed. I use Sunshine polishing cloths on my jewelry.
